Philips Z. DING

Professional Experience and Education:
Mr. Ding received LL.M in the specialization of Corporate and Financial Service Law from National University of Singapore in 2005 and LL.B from Fudan University in 2002.

Mr. Ding is a partner based in the Shanghai Office of Broad & Bright. Before relocating to Shanghai, Mr. Ding worked in the Hong Kong offices of Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP, a top Wall Street law firm and Simmons & Simmons, a leading international law firm. 
Practice Areas:
Mr. Ding's practice encompasses joint venture projects, merger & acquisition, private equity investment, project development and finance, initial public offering, corporate insolvency as well as anti-bribery and compliance work. 

Mr. Ding regularly advises venture capital and private equity funds on the formation of new funds and investment into portfolio companies in the industries of manufacturing, telecommunication, media, high-technology, education, financial institutions, healthcare and real estate.

Mr. Ding is also specialized in energy and infrastructure sectors. He has represented many multinational companies in connection with their sponsor or acquisition of various projects in the sectors of as water, toll roads, oil & gas, power and shipyard.

Mr. Ding also leads team to represent a number of multinational companies in connection with anti-bribery investigations. He frequently gives training to clients on the topic of PRC anti-bribery investigation and compliance issues.
