Weiwei WENG

Education and Working Experience:
Mr. Weng obtained his LL.B. degree from Peking University in 1991 and his LL.M. degree from Keio University of Japan in 1997. Before joining Broad & Bright as a partner in 2008, Mr Weng worked with Mori Hamada & Matsumoto from 1997 to 2008.
Practice Areas:
Mr. Weng’s major practice areas include foreign direct investment in China, mergers and acquisitions, listing, real estate and construction, intellectual property and general corporate.

Before joining Broad & Bright, Mr. Weng practiced in Mori Hamada & Matsumoto, one of the leading law firms in Japan, for 11 years and has extensive experience in his major practice areas. Mr. Weng has participated in a great number of investment and acquisition as the leading counsel on behalf of Japanese investors in China and has provided comprehensive services for foreign-invested enterprises in terms of daily operation, management, debt claim, quality control, reorganization, winding-up and liquidation. In the area of overseas listing, he represented several Chinese companies in their listing in Japan.
